    This comes as no surprise to those who have been living as walking-talking virtual Goddesses, for years. However it is important to know just how far the lifestyle has advanced in society's eyes over the past forty years. In the nine-teen sixties the number of people involved in the lifestyle was far less than it is today. A submissive needed to enter a "dirty book store" , only to find a small rack of picture magazines devoted to BDSM. There were virtually no adult movies that broached the subject. However, there was a good selection of books, that told poorly written tales, of Mistresses and their unfortunate slaves. Leather and latex clad Women were no where to be seen in public. The fact of the matter, was the BDSM community, most assuredly, was much smaller than that of the gay/lesbian community. It was a taboo of epic proportions.

    Today, these facts, likely come as a surprise to the Cyber generation. The idiom, "You've come a long way baby", certainly lends itself well to this topic.

    It is a historical fact that major change is inevitable whenever a new century begins. Eight years ago the twenty first century began. With that, came earth shattering manifestations of change in science, global politics and an increase in individual's willingness to look at new ways of looking at things.

    This outside the box mentality has seemingly unveiled a new attitude in humans. The drop dead, glamorous, gorgeous Woman, now embraces a lifestyle that suits her interests -- and not that of the old guard. Moreover, males in increasing numbers are queuing up to be of service to the Femdom Goddess.

    This is the Third Millennium. With that, it is no great surprise that Women are becoming more and more empowered. Yes, much more can, and will, be given back to the superior sex.

Nevertheless, this quote from Gloria Brame, PhD, MPH in Human Sexuality, ACS and practitioner of BDSM clarifies the matter at hand, "While not as organized yet as the Gay & Lesbian movements, the BDSM/fetish communities have become an active political and social force in recent years."

The aim here is be a tool that can help to better organize the Femdom Goddess facet of the comminity. It is an objective of femdomgoddess.org to play a role in helping to further the cause of all Femdom Goddesses. We also will be a place where the curious can get answers. THE VISION

Greetings all, I am Goddess Rebecca of Dublin, Ireland. Recently, while attending Nuit Demonia in Paris, I had this picture taken. As you might expect, timing was important in getting the shot just right. It's always nice when things turn out well. I had a most wonderful time at the party. It was full of excitement. I met up with old friends and made new acquaintances. It was a great opportunity to network with other people that live the lifestyle of Female Domination and other fetishes…

I am a naturally dominant woman. This I knew to be true at an early age. As is the case with many beautiful women, I discovered there was certain power that accompanied my appearance. Obviously, because of that, I got more attention than most girls. What’s more, sparing the details of my personal life, my dominant personality emerged and quite naturally I became what I am today, a Femdom Goddess.

My story is one that is becoming more and more common across the globe. True, not every Goddess becomes involved in Female Domination. However, suffice to say, there are millions of women who, without being aware of it, are de-facto Femdom Goddesses.

Recent studies reveal that one half of all males are interested in bondage scenes as part of their sex play. Scientific studies have shown that as many as one in four women are involved in BDSM behavior. Consequently, the behavior is not only widespread but apparently becoming more and more accepted as a valid form of human expression.

The URL of this website contains a combination of words that are quite special to me as a Femdom Goddess. I plan to use this opportunity as owner of http://the goddess directory.femdomgoddess.org as both a hub and a beacon for the Femdom Goddesses of the world. We will contain on these pages links that will connect with the top Femdom Goddess resource sites such as, http://elisesutton.homestead.com/main.html and http://gloria-brame.com/.

Moreover, I believe the single most important feature of this site is to share this space with my fellow Femdom Goddesses. The aim of this special place is to simply offer an upscale directory that includes links to the elite Goddesses of Femdom. Eventually I hope this site will be able to connect with the worlds most prestigious and powerful Femdom Goddesses.

I believe the Femdom Goddess deserves to be the center of attention. The time has come for a Holy Place to be erected to honor Her. She needs to be proudly placed upon a pedestal and elevated to Her rightful place, a celestial throne.

The approach of including a small image of each Femdom Goddess,I believe, is better for both Goddess and surfer alike. This idea, in a sense is not a new one. However there are currently no directories that focus solely on the Femdom Goddess. The time has come for this to happen. This will obviously be a rather labor intensive project. Not to worry, though, after all, isn’t that what web slaves are for?

In addition to that, the plan is to host features designed to delight both Goddess and surfer alike. With this being our premiere edition it is fitting to kick things off with a presentation of awards. The Femdom Goddess deserves to be openly recognized for Her achievements.

So, just as the moon illuminates and unveils with Her soft shadows the beauty of the night, this hallowed space will strive to bring light and devotion to the superstars of this ever-growing lifestyle.
